MORSIGN - MOBILE AUTHENTICATION TECHNOLOGY WITH MORSE CODE PASSPHRASE

  • Description of Invention

Mobile phones usually carry sensitive information of the user. Thus, security concerns arise while dealing with privacy issues. A method of using Morse code passphrase to perform authentication is proposed in this work in order to solve the vulnerability of traditional password authentication methods. Morsign bundled two applications: (i) Morse Pass, the phone login authentication (lock screen), and (ii) Morse Vault, the password management tool. It is an authentication app to replace classical password, in such a way that instead of key in text-based password, this app allows the user to tap his/her unique rhythm patterns. This behaviorally "rhythmic" pattern will be treated as an authentication password.
