SHEMS is capable of transforming normal appliances into smart appliances as it makes energy monitoring and controlling possible even without online connection. SHEMS integrates Printed Circuit Board (PCB), Virtual Private Server (VPS) and flutter mobile applications. SHEMS allows the user to conveniently monitor the energy consumption of household devices on a real-time basis via multiple platforms which includes a purpose-built mobile application and web-based application. This feature is in addition to the normal function of a conventional power outlet.
